The money raised helped refugees buy masks and other essential items amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. As refugees in Hong Kong live on scant government subsidies, it has become more difficult than ever to survive in the city, especially with rising prices for products during the pandemic. We hope that we were able to make a small difference in refugees' lives and we will continue to raise awareness about their plight.
